Australia limited overs squad for the tour of West Indies & Bangladesh announced
Australia announced 18-member limited overs squad on Wednesday, June 16 to tour West Indies (July 9-24) and Bangladesh (fixtures yet to be announced). The squad is led by Aaron Finch but will miss the services of Steven Smith who is nursing an elbow injury.
The other players who aren’t part of Australia’s squad are David Warner, Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell, Jhye Richardson, Kane Richardson, Daniel Sams and Marcus Stoinis.
Pacer Nathan Ellis and leg spinner Tanveer Sangha are named as the reserves for the touring Australian squad. Wes Aghar has received his maiden International call up and is lined up alongside his brother Ashton Agar in the squad.
Four wicket-keeper batsmen are named in the squad in the form of Ben McDermott, Josh Philippe, Matthew Wade and Alex Carey.
The pacers in the line up include Andrew Tye, Mitchell Starc, Riley Meredith, Jason Behrendorff, Josh Hazlewood and Wes Agar. Leg spinner Adam Zampa and Mitchell Swepson along side left arm spinner Ashton Agar form the spin department for the Aussie team.
The team is also enriched with the presence of all-rounders in the form of Dan Christian, Moises Henriques, Ashton Turner and Mitchell Marsh.

Australia’s Caribbean-bound squad will leave on June 28 to play in five T20Is and three ODIs against West Indies from July 9-24. The Bangladesh tour, which is yet to be confirmed, will include five T20Is.
