Wasim Jaffer trolls former England Cricketer

Former Indian batsman and domestic giant Wasim Jaffer upped his social media game since IPL 2020. Jaffer has been vocal on social media with his cricketing memes inspired by Bollywood culture. This time the target was former England captain Michael Vaughan.

Prior to the start of India’s tour of Australia, the former England cricketer went on to say that Australia will beat India in all formats convincingly. As expected it didn’t go well with the Indian fans and Vaughan once again became the subject of troll.

Australia won the first 2 ODI matches in a dominant manner which held strong with Michael Vaughan’s prediction. But, the tide shifted in India’s favor ever since the limited over matches shifted to Canberra from Sydney. India went on to win the 3rd ODI followed by a win in the 1st T20I at the same venue. With momentum shifting towards India, they went on to beat Australia again on Sunday in a thrilling chase at Sydney.

This was the opportune moment for Wasim Jaffer to unleash his meme. Inspired by ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ movie – he went on to remind Michael Vaughan about the fate of the series. Unlike his prediction, India went on to clinch the T20I series quite convincingly.

The social media was in praise of Wasim Jaffer for his meme which voiced the relief and counter strike of many Indian fans alike.

Wasim Jaffer’s new avatar as a cricket memer is already making rounds on the internet and he sure has a funny bone which we missed to notice during his cricketing years. Jaffer played the role of batting mentor of Kings XI Punjab in the 2020 edition of IPL.

India will play their final T20I on December 8 at Sydney. The 4 match Test series begins on 17 December with a Day-Night match at Adelaide.
