Rishabh Pant scores the first century at Narendra Modi Stadium

Rishabh Pant once again stole the show for India in the whites at Narendra Modi Stadium against England as the wicket keeper batsman saved the day for for his team. Pant is getting applauded all over the world for his remarkable innings of 101 runs in 118 balls especially when the team needed the most.

Pant joined Adam Gilchrist as the only other wicket keeper batsman to register Test centuries in England, Australia and India.

On Day 2 of the fourth test, Team India was struggling at 80-4 when he came in to bat and played a gem of an innings to guide his side from 150-6 to 300-7 including a 113 stand for 7th wicket along with Washington Sundar which gave India the upper hand in the Test.

His innings of 101 which includes 13 fours and 2 sixes was the highlight of the day that made the shoulders down of the English side who were once eying for a decent lead in the second innings.

India at the moment have there nose ahead as the blues able to achieve the lead of 127 with the score of 321-7 at stumps. Washington sunder (72)* and Axar Patel (26)* are well set on crease and will look to stretch the lead as much on Day 3.
