Let’s have a look at the Top 10 highest paid cricket captains in International Cricket. A quick heads-up Indian captain Virat Kohli is not the highest paid cricket captain in the world. He is in the Top 3 top paid list though.

The newly instated Sri Lankan ODI captain Kusal Perera is No.13 in the list with an annual salary of 25 lakh INR. Sri Lankan Test skipper Dimuth Karunaratne is at No.12 with a yearly salary of 51 lakh INR. At No.11 is Pakistan skipper Babar Azam with a salary of 62.4 lakh INR.

BCCI has given him a Grade A+ contract alongside Jasprit Bumrah and Rohit Sharma – it is the top most contract in the salary scale in Indian cricket.

It is surprising to note that even England fast bowler Jofra Archer earns more money for playing for his country than Virat Kohli. Kohli is without doubt one of the world’s highest-paid athletes but Kohli is not the highest-paid international captain.
