Kings XI Punjab – IPL Players Retention and Released List
Kings XI Punjab have released nine players from their squad including big names like Glenn Maxwell and Jimmy Neesham. Mystery spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman faced the same fate.
Their two most expensive buys who had a forgettable IPL 2020 season- Glenn Maxwell and Sheldon Cottrell were released ahead of the 2021 IPL auction. Among foreign players, they have also released James Neesham, Mujeeb ur Rahman and Hardus Viljoen. Karnataka cricketers Krishnappa Gowtham, Karun Nair and Jagadeesha Suchith were among the Indians to be released.
