IPL 2021: Royal Challengers Bangalore Best XI

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) stated of brilliantly in the first half of IPL 2020 edition but went dry in the second half as they tried various combinations with the middle order. RCB lost to SRH in the playoffs as they eventually released a load of players from the team including the likes of Shivam Dube and Gurkeerat Singh Mann.

At the auction Royal Challengers got Glenn Maxwell and they are hopeful their middle order woes finally have a solution.

Captain Virat Kohli hinted he will be opening the innings and with Devdutt Padikkal’s availability in question the captain’s opening partner is under the scanner.

Washington Sundar and Mohammed Siraj are on a high since their test match heroics in Australia while the ever reliable AB de Villiers always gives the team a confidence booster.

All-rounders Daniel Sams, Daniel Christian and Kyle Jamieson add a new dimension to the team which had struggled down the order.

AB de Villiers might keep wickets in case they opt to go with Sachin Baby in the middle order over Kona Bharat and Mohammed Azharuddeen.
