For the third time in a row am backing Quinton de Kock as my captain choice. Jos Buttler’s presence in itself is vibrant enough for me to back him as the vice captain one more time. The third wicket keeper slot is happily staying with Jonny Bairstow who delivered for us in the first T20I at Cape Town.
I had to exclude Sam Curran with great difficulty but it is your choice to have him in. The reason for the exclusion is to fit in George Linde who has been getting points with both bat and ball.
Bowling wise I went with slog over specialists Lungisani Ngidi and Jofra Archer along with Adil Rashid who has the capability of making break throughs in the middle overs. That means I have excluded Kagiso Rabada for the third time in a row – This time though I was tempted to get him in, all but for his dismal record at Cape Town.
Batting wise I went with the ever reliable Faf du Plessis, Dawid Malan and the graceful Rassie van der Dussen. I dropped out. Good for us that just when we brought in Dawid Malan for the 2nd T20I he struck form and boy that worked wonders for the fantasy XI.
Other options you can look in to are – Moeen Ali (if he gets a chance to play), Jason Roy (about time he clicks) and Chris Jordan (if he is not rested).
