CPL 2021: St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Player Retention List
St Kitts & Nevis Patriots announced their retentions for the 2021 edition of CPL which will kick start on August 28 in St Kitts & Nevis, after a busy home series schedule featuring South Africa, Australia and Pakistan.
West Indies will feature in 15 T20Is during this period playing 5 T20Is each against their opponents.
St Kitts & Nevis Patriots retained 7 of their players from 2020 edition and added 2 players in the form of trades. The players in are Dwayne Bravo and Sherfane Rutherford. DJ Bravo played for Trinbago Knight Riders in the 2020 edition. He was swaped in for Denesh Ramdin who will now plays for Trinbago Knight Riders.
Sherfane Rutherford who previously played for Guyana Amazon Warriors will now play for the Patriots.
The player retentions include opener Evin Lewis, all-rounder Fanian Allen alongside the experienced Rayad Emrit and Sheldon Cottrell. Jashua Da Silva who made his CPL debut last season impressed the franchise and is retained for another year.
35 year old off-spinner Jon Russ Jaggesar and 23-year old Dominic Drakes made the cut as well. Dominic Drakes is a left handed batsman and pacer, who is also the son of former West Indies cricketer Vasbert Drakes.

The Patriots have 8 spots to fill and will be announcing it in the coming few days.
