David Warner’s milestones and shoes!

David Warner reached a landmark milestone of 10,000 T20 runs during the match against Chennai Super Kings. He became the fourth batsman to achieve this feat after Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard and Shoaib Malik.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad captain also smacked his 200th six in IPL history when he tonked a wide off side delivery by Lungi Ngidi to a clean hit over the long-off boundary.

Warner scored a uncharacteristic 57 in 55 balls against CSK as he withstood the pressure of his own form and batting order. In the process he became the first ever batsman in IPL history to score 50 half centuries. The next in the list is Shikhar Dhawan with 43 half centuries followed by Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and AB de Villiers with 40 half centuries to their name.

David Warner has scored 193 runs in 6 matches this season at an average of 32.16. His strike rate of 110.28 is something he will be looking to propel with games to come.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are languishing at the bottom of the IPL table despite some very close losses. The SRH unit would be looking to turn the fortune around as they usually do season after season as they take on Rajasthan Royals in their next match at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi.
