Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson pull out of IPL 2021
Aussies overseas sign ups of Royal Challengers Bangalore Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson pull out of IPL 2021 due to personal reasons. They will miss the remainder of IPL 2021 season. The announcement has been made by RCB management on social media.
“Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson are returning to Australia for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of IPL season. Royal Challengers Bangalore offers complete support to them in all the possible way we can,” the franchise said in a statement.
The bubble fatigues already caused a few overseas players leave the tourney so far. Delhi Capitals spinner R Ashwin also took a indefinite break to take care of his family needs during the pandemic.
Richardson featured in a solitary game this season and picked a wicket of Shivam Dube against Rajasthan Royals.
Richardson picked 19 IPL wickets in 15 matches at an average of 24.84. Richardson was not available for RCB in the IPL 2020 edition at UAE.
Leg spinner Adam Zampa joined the team late as he was wedded to his long time girl friend. He hasn’t featured in any match this season for RCB.
RCB now has AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell, Kyle Jamieson, Finn Allen, Dan Christian and Daniel Sams as their overseas players.
RCB is currently ranked No.3 in points table after a big loss against Chennai Super Kings on Sunday at Wankhede Stadium. Both Zampa and Richardson were benched for the match.
My dream team will feature Marcus Trescothick and Anil Kumble
