Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan make Team India debuts
The Mumbai Indians duo Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan have been handed over their India caps ahead of the 2nd T20I International against England on Sunday, March 14. Captain Kohli handed over the cap to Ishan Kishan while coach Ravi Shastri did the honors to Suryakumar Yadav.
Ishan Kishan replaced Shikhar Dhawan and is set to open the innings with KL Rahul while Suryakumar came in the place of Axar Patel and is roped to bat at no.6. Team India won the toss and elect to bowl in the 2nd T20I at Narendra Modi Stadium.
Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav were the top run getters for Mumbai Indians in the 2020 edition of IPL in UAE. Kishan scored 516 runs at an average of 57.33 while Suryakumar Yada scored 480 runs at an average of 40. Both batsmen hit 4 half centuries each.
England also made a change with Mark Wood not completely fit. All-rounder Tom Curran has been slotted in which will boost their batting depth which is already very strong on cards.
