IPL 2021 Schedule Announced!

The IPL Governing Council announced the IPL 2021 Schedule which is set to be held in India. The venues for the event are Ahmedabad, Bangaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. The match start times for day and night games are 3:30pm IST & 7:30pm IST respectively.

The season opener will kick off on 9th April 2021 at Chennai – featuring defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad will host the playoffs and finals of IPL 2021. The finals is scheduled to be played on 30th May 2021.

VIVO IPL 2021 will kick off with matches with out spectators but a call about allowing crowd will be taken as the tournament goes on.

The fixtures of the tournament have been designed in such a way that each team will travel only three times during the league stage, thus reducing commute and minimizing risk of COVID-19.
