Carlos Brathwaite to play for Sydney Sixers
Windies all rounder Carlos Brathwaite who played 4 matches for Sydney Sixers in 2017-18 season – has signed a deal with the defending champions to play in the upcoming edition of Big Bash League. Brathwaite joins Tom Curran and James Vince who are the other overseas sign ups for Sydney Sixers.
The West Indian all rounder also represented Sydney Thunder in 2017 before going on to play a season for the Sixers. Carlos Brathwaite is known for his hard hitting abilities boosted with a knack of picking wickets in crunch moments of the game. Playing for West Indies in a Test match at Sydney, Brathwaite scored 69 in 71 balls with the help of 7 fours and 4 sixes in his career 2nd Test match.
I have very fond memories of Sydney. I have good memories of playing at the SCG in my second Test match and even better memories of playing BBL for Sixers. I remember great times dancing at the games and the times in the dressing rooms with our team
