Sachin Tendulkar donates his 200th Test jersey for Pink Test

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar donated his jersey which he wore on the occasion of his farewell Test. He donated it to the McGrath Foundation on the eve of Pink Test. This jersey would be auctioned and the proceeds will go in to raising funds to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia, in support of those families experiencing breast cancer.

Sachin Tendulkar donned this jersey in 2013 on the eve of his 200th Test at Mumbai against West Indies. This was the last International match featuring the all time great. He is still the only cricketer to have played 200 Test matches for his country. He scored 74 runs in his farewell Test.

A total of 97 items are up for grabs.

How to get Sachin Tendulkar’s Jersey?

Those who are interested in bidding items for the Pink Test can go on to McGrath foundation website and bid for your favorite item. All the proceeds go in for a noble cause of supporting families experiencing breast cancer and helping them with nurses from the McGrath Foundation placed all across the country.

The auction for the items is for a period of 5 days from the first day of Sydney Test. The jersey is already gathering bids and is definitely going to be a priced possession for cricket enthusiasts who have watched the legend in action.

Sachin Tendulkar and Glenn McGrath ruled the cricketing world and it is beautiful how their rivalry on field has evolved in to such friendship over time.
