WPL Auction 2023: All team squads

A total of 448 players were auctioned in the inaugural auction of Women’s Premier League (WPL Auction). The event kick started with the launch of the new WPL logo followed by the new auctioneer Mallika Sagar taking over the proceedings.

The WPL Auction event was held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai (February 13).

A total of 87 players were sold in the auction with Smriti Mandhana being the most expensive player at 3.4 crore INR. Among the overseas players England all-rounder Nat Sciver bagged a 3.2 crore deal from Mumbai Indians.

A total of 10 rounds of auction followed by three rounds of accelerated auction took place.

The five franchises that participated in the event are Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants.
