SRH cricketer tests positive for COVID – DC vs SRH match to go ahead as planned

Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer T Natarajan tested positive in the schedule RT-PCR test ahead of the DC vs SRH fixture. The Tamil Nadu pacer is asymptomatic and the medical team has identified close contacts to stay away from the fixture against Delhi Capitals.

Among the six close contacts is SRH all-rounder Vijay Shankar who will stay away from the DC fixture.

Natarajan featured in 24 IPL matches so far – 18 of those matches were played for SRH. He picked 20 wickets at an average of 34.40 at an economy rate of 8.23.

The rest of SRH squad tested negative in the RT-PCR Tests and will take part in the clash against Delhi Capitals.
