Narine conceded 11 runs in his first over but came back brilliantly in his next 3 overs to pick a wicket conceding just 9 runs. Narine also took the catch of Quinton de Kock off the bowling of Prasidh Krishna.

Kiwi pacer Lockie Ferguson cut the brakes off Mumbai Indians batsmen by conceding 27 runs in 4 overs and picked 2 wickets.

He got the important wickets of Kieron Pollard (ran him out) and Krunal Pandya in back-to-back deliveries in the all important final over. He also got the wicket of Ishan Kishan in the 17th over of MI innings.

Mumbai Indians could manage 155/6 in 20 overs after a great start provided by the openers.
