ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Anthem released

The T20 World Cup 2021 anthem was released by Star Sports on Thursday, 23rd September. The anthem song titled ‘There is something happening in the air, yo’ has showcased the imagination of the thrilling action that will be in play during the ICC tournament in October and November 2021.

The anthem depicted the emotions of people from 4 countries – West Indies (Jamaica), India (Mumbai), New Zealand (Auckland) and Pakistan (Karachi) and had a animated feature of real life cricketers – Virat Kohli, Kieron Pollard, Rashid Khan, Glenn Maxwell and Kieron Pollard.

The main tournament will begin on October 23 after the qualifying stage. The opening match will be played between Australia and South Africa at Abu Dhabi.
