West Indies will face Australia in a 3 match ODI series which will be a part of ICC ODI Super League. Alex Carey will lead Australia in the first ODI after Aaron Finch has been ruled out due to a knee injury. Carey previously led Adelaide Strikers (BBL), South Australian Redbacks and Australia A teams.
Alex Carey will become the 26th man to lead Australia in ODI Cricket. Carey will be the first South Australian to lead his country in a 50-over match since the late great David Hookes in 1983.
Captain Finch is expected to be ready for the 2nd ODI.
