WTC Final: Team India Playing XI announced
Team India announced their playing XI for the inaugural edition of World Test Championship. The XI is picked from the 15-member squad which was announced earlier. India will face off New Zealand in the WTC final from June 18-22 with June 23 as the reserve day.
The Indian XI is led by Virat Kohli as they go in with 3 pacers and 2 spinners. Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami lead the pace attack while Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin will steer the spin attack.
Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will open the innings for Team India with usual suspects Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane are named in the playing XI. Rishabh Pant will take up the wicket keeping duties for the team.
