CPL 2021: Trinbago Knight Riders Player Retention List

Defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders announced their 2021 Player Retentions ahead of the 2021 Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The 2021 edition of CPL will kick start on August 28 in St Kitts & Nevis, after a busy home series schedule featuring South Africa, Australia and Pakistan.

West Indies will feature in 15 T20Is during this period playing 5 T20Is each against their opponents.

Knight Riders who were invincible in the 2020 edition of CPL, winning all the 12 matches to claim their fourth CPL title, retained 12 cricketers from their winning season.

Dwayne Bravo who was a part of TKR in previous seasons, has now moved to St Kitts & Nevis Patriots. Wicket keeper batsman Denesh Ramdin has swapped positions in to the team.

The players missing out from last season are leg spinner Fawad Ahmed, Kiwi keeper batsman Tim Seifert, Indian leg spinner Pravin Tambe and wicket keeper Amir Jangoo.

The team now has 4 spots to fill in as the draft is likely to happen in the final week of May 2021.

The overseas players in the team currently are Colin Munro (New Zealand) and Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe)
