WATCH:
The Aussie pacer conceded 18 runs in his first ever IPL over. His second over went for 9 runs while his third over got spanked for 14 runs courtesy Sanju Samson.
Punjab Kings brought Meredith back in to the attack in the 19th over when RR needed 21 runs to win in 12 balls. The right arm pacer picked the wicket of Rahul Tewatia first ball. He conceded just 8 runs off the over despite Samson smacking him for a six over deep mid-wicket boundary.
Meredith’s bowling figures of 4-0-49-1 might not be impressive but he delivered at the death when his team needed which turned quite cruicial in the final outcome of the match.
My dream team will feature Marcus Trescothick and Anil Kumble
