Venkatesh Prasad gives fitting reply to Pakistan journalist who tried to troll him!
Former Indian pacer Venkatesh Prasad dealt with a troll from Pakistan journalist on twitter and his reply was so epic!
The Indian pacer posted a memorable moment from the 1996 World Cup where he bowled out Aamer Sohail in the World Cup quarter finals at Bangalore after dealing with the batsman’s arrogance on field. Prasad called himself “Indira Nagar Ka Gunda” with reference to Rahul Dravid’s CRED commercial where the former Indian batsman was seen dealing with the Bengaluru traffic.
Soon a Pakistan sports journalist Najeeb ul Hasnain tried trolling the Indian pacer calling this the only achievement by Prasad in his career.
The Indian pacer respectfully reminded the Pakistan journalist of his 5 wicket haul in the 1999 World Cup 3 years later. India beat Pakistan in the fixture which was held in the backdrop of Kargil War. Venkatesh Prasad won the Man of the Match award in that match. Team India defended 227 runs at Manchester in a Super 6 phase match.
The ‘Indiranagar ka gunda’ phrase comes from an done by CRED, a credit card payment application, wherein Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid is seen losing his temper dealing with the Bengaluru traffic.
The ad went viral on social media within two hours after it was posted online, on the opening day of IPL 2021. Dravid completely loses his cool in the ad and can be seen howling and screaming while sitting in his car at a red light. Dravid also yells “Indiranagar ka gunda hun main” during the whole episode.
Meanwhile fans backed the Indian pacer after his fitting reply that reminded the 90s kids of those memorable India v Pakistan cricket moments.
