Glenn Maxwell’s 59 in 41 balls was the differentiating factor between both teams. Maxwell walked in at No.4 once again ahead of AB de Villiers. He took his time to get going but once he started connecting the ball, he took the command over SRH bowlers.

The 11th over of the match by Shahbaz Nadeem got hit for 22 runs which shifted the momentum towards RCB. Maxwell hit a 6,4 and 6 to kick off the over.

RCB were struggling at 109-6 in 16.4 overs – Maxwell’s slog took them to a score of 149-8 in 20 overs. He won the Player of the Match award for his effort.

Rashid Khan

Once again, the Afghanistan leg spinner was the best bowler economy wise for SRH. H epicked the crucial and important wickets of AB de Villiers (1) and Washington Sundar (8)

Rashid Khan’s bowling figures of 4-0-18-2 dented RCB’s scope in building the innings.

Rashid also contributed with the bat with a 9 ball 17 with the help of 1 four and 1 six when the team needed the most but couldn’t help his team cross the finishing line.

David Warner

Shahbaz Ahmed

Shahbaz Ahmed was slotted to bat at No.3 for RCB and he hit a quick 10 ball 14 with the help of 1 six. He later came on to bowl in the 17th over where picked the wickets of Jonny Bairstow, Manish Pandey and Abdul Samad to choke the SRH batting attack.
