Shardul Thakur and Suryakumar Yadav rescue Mumbai with the bat!

In the Vijay Hazare Trophy fixture between Mumbai and Himachal Pradesh, Shardul Thakur and Suryakumar Yadav struck 90s to rescue their team from tricky situations. Earlier Mumbai elect to bat at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur and they were jolted to 8/3 in 4 overs – Yashasvi Jaiswal, Prithvi Shaw and captain Shreyas Iyer out for the score of 2 runs each!

Suryakumar Yadav struck a 75 ball 91 before he departed at the score of 148-5 in 30.4 overs. Shardul Thakur then joined Aditya Tare to resurrect Mumbai innings with a 112 run partnership in the next 14 overs. Thakur hit 92 in 57 balls with the help 6 Fours & 6 Sixes while Tare hit 83 in 98 balls. This blew away Himachal Pradesh who looked in a very strong position in the first 15 overs of the match!

Suryakumar Yadav brought up his fifty in 45 balls while Shardul reached his in 39 balls before exploding in their own characteristic style.
