Sachin Tendulkar and Yusuf Pathan test COVID-19 positive

Former Indian cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Yusuf Pathan who featured in the recent Unacademy Road Safety World Series tournament tested positive and are quarantining.

Tendulkar led the India Legends in the Road Safety World Series while Yusuf Pathan won the Man of the Match award in the finals against Sri Lanka Legends.

Both the cricketers announced on social media in a gap of few hours as fans sent in Get Well Soon messages to them.

Earlier in the morning of 27th March – Sachin Tendulkar posted saying he tested positive for COVID-19 following mild symptoms. The rest of his family tested negative as per the tests.

Yusuf Pathan replied Sachin Tendulkar in the evening wishing him a speedy recovery!

Two hours later even Yusuf Pathan tested positive with mild symptoms. He is undergoing quarantine at home.

I've tested positive for COVID-19 today with mild symptoms. Post the confirmation, I have quarantined myself at home and taking all the necessary precautions and medication required.

I would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest.
