New Zealand T20I squad versus Bangladesh announced
A 13 member New Zealand T20I squad was announced for the 3 match T20I series against Bangladesh. IPL participants Kane Williamson (SRH), Trent Boult (MI), Mitchell Santner (CSK), Kyle Jamieson (RCB), Jimmy Neesham (MI) and Tim Seifert (KKR) were left out of the squad. Meanwhile, RCB batsman Finn Allen, KKR pacer Lockie Ferguson and MI pacer Adam Milne were named in the squad.
Finn Allen and Will Young were called up in the Blackcaps T20I squad for the first time. In the absence of Tim Seifert – Devon Conway and Glenn Phillips are the wicket keeping options for the hosts.

Chief Selector Gavin Larsen was happy with the inclusion of Finn Allen who had an exceptional Super Smash T20 season.
“It’s especially an exciting time for Finn, who will be getting his first taste of the BlackCaps environment. His Super Smash campaign with the Firebirds was nothing short of outstanding and we believe he has the skills to succeed at the next level,” Selector Gavin Larsen opined.
The 3 match T20I series will kick off at Hamilton on 28th March with the 2nd match scheduled to take place on 30th March at Napier. The last T20I will be played on April 1st at Auckland.
