Captain and Vice Captain:

The very reliable Faf du Plessis will be my captain this time round. He was my vice captain the last match. I am testing my vice captaincy with a gem of a talent from Sri Lanka – Dasun Shanaka. I rate him very high as the future of Sri Lankan cricket.

Batsmen:

I have gone a bit light on Proteas batsmen this time round – given the fact that Sri Lanka are more likely to bat twice than South Africa. Faf, Dean Elgar and Sri Lankan man in form Dinesh Chandimal are in for me.

All rounders:

With Dhananjaya de Silva gone – am testing the waters with Wiaan Mulder and my vice captain for this match Dasun Shanaka.

Bowlers:

I am going with an out and out Proteas bowling attack. Lungi Ngidi and Anrich Nortje form my pace attack while Keshav Maharaj who has been categorized as bowler by Dream11 can come in handy with batting and bowling points.

Wicketkeepers:

I am going in with as many as 3 wicket keepers. Quinton de Kock, Niroshan Dickwella and Kusal Perera. All 3 dashing batsmen who can give us some quick points.

X-factor players for me are Dasun Shanaka and Niroshan Dickwella. One player I rate high but couldn’t pick as I went light on Proteas batsman in the list is Rassie van der Dussen. He can be a potential point clincher if you want to stand out from other teams.
