Wasim Jaffer tweets a cryptic message to captain Rahane – Explained!

The new memer on the block, former Indian batsman Wasim Jaffer has a message to the standing Indian captain Ajinkya Rahane in terms of Team selection. The domestic giant took to twitter posting a cryptic looking tweet that didn’t take long to be deciphered.

The first alphabets of each word put together says PICK GILL AND RAHUL.

With the absence of Virat Kohli a lot of speculations are flying around regarding the incoming replacements. Wasim Jaffer has his message almost clear suggesting an infusion of Shubman Gill and KL Rahul replacing Virat Kohli and probably the struggling Prithvi Shaw or Hanuma Vihari.

Team India could also take the route of KL Rahul keeping wickets for the team. Rahul has a Test century in Australia but has a paltry average of 20.77 down under. Shubman Gill is yet to make his Test debut.

Team India is also in conundrum as Mohammed Shami is ruled out of the tour with a fractured arm. With Ishant Sharma already absent – who will replace the experienced Shami seems to be a looming question.

India will play Australia in the Boxing Day Test on 26 December at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Telecasts begins at 5:00 am IST.
