Fantasy XI:

Batsmen: Janneman Malan, Rassie van der Dussen, Joe Root (vice-captain), Eoin Morgan

WK Batsman: Quinton de Kock (captain), Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow

All Rounders: George Linde (tempted to try Andile Phehlukwayo)

Bowlers: Chris Woakes, Tabraiz Shamsi, Adil Rashid

COVID threat postponed the match scheduled on 4th December to 6th December. This is the first time both teams head against each other at Boland Park, Paarl.

I am continuing to go with Quinton de Kock as my captain – He is surely due for a significant knock this home series. Vice-Captain was bit of a struggle for me as I was conflicted between Rassie van der Dussen and Joe Root. Purely for balancing the teams I went with Joe Root. My gut still says Rassie could be a decent captain or vice captain choice.

Bowling wise I went with Chris Woakes for his all round skills. Historically spinners did have a good run here – especially the wrist spinners. Hence the inclusion of Tabraiz Shamsi and Adil Rashid.

I was incredibly impressed by the presence of George Linde in limited overs format. I couldn’t resist to give him a go over Andile Phehlukwayo.

My X-factors are Rassie van der Dussen and Chris Woakes who could make a difference to the final tally. Additionally you can opt for Andile Phehlukwayo for his wicket taking ability complimented by some good batting power hits. Given the shaking batting order against English attack – David Miller is another X-factor pick you can look in to. If you want to stand out from other teams, you may consider making one of these your captain or vice-captain
