Given the form Quinton de Kock is in, I am instinctively going with the Proteas skipper as my fantasy captain – handy with the gloves and as a aggressive opener, I hope this pick wouldn’t disappoint. I am backing Jos Buttler as my vice captain this time round as we know the destructive opener he could be. Sam Curran is another option we can look in to with the captain/vice captain role.

Bowling wise I went with slog over specialists Lungisani Ngidi and Jofra Archer along with Adil Rashid who has the capability of making break throughs in the middle overs.

Batting wise I went with the ever reliable Faf du Plessis, Dawid Malan and the graceful Rassie van der Dussen. I dropped out Eoin Morgan as he now bats at no.6 – a bit down for my liking.

I am continuing to back Lungisani Ngidi over Kagiso Rabada for the 2nd time in a row. Nothing against Rabada – but I feel Ngidi has the knack of picking 2-3 wickets every match in South Africa in T20Is.
