Leggie Sandeep Lamichchane tests positive for COVID-19

Nepal’s spin sensation tweeted on Saturday that he has been tested positive for COVID-19. He also mentioned that his health is improving which should be a relief to his fans and franchise owners.

Sandeep mentioned that he had body aches since Wednesday and is now in home isolation.

The Nepal leg spinner signed up with Hobart Hurricanes for the upcoming Big Bash League edition. This comes as a big blow to the franchise as the BBL kicks off from December 10 with Hobart Hurricanes taking on Sydney Sixers in the opener.

Apart from Sandeep, three other players from the Nepal national team were tested positive for COVID-19 including captain Gyanendra Malla and vice captain Dipendra Singh Airee.
