Team India Contracts 2023-24
On February 28, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveiled the annual player retainership for Team India-Senior Men (Team India Contratcs) for the 2023-24 season. Notably, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja were placed in the prestigious Grade A+ category, with an expected annual remuneration of ₹7 crore each.
The Annual Player Contracts for Team India are set to be in effect from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024.
Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer, who are currently out of favor, were omitted from the central contract roster for not adhering to the instruction to participate in the Ranji Trophy. Additionally, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were notable omissions from the list of BCCI central contracts.
In addition to these contracts, BCCI introduced a new contract for pace bowlers this year.

Grade A+ (7 crore INR) – 4 players
Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja
Grade A (5 crore INR) – 6 players
R Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya
Grade B (3 crore INR) – 5 players
Surya Kumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Yashasvi Jaiswal
Grade C (1 crore INR) – 17 players
Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Ruturaj Gaekwad, Shardul Thakur, Shivam Dube, Ravi Bishnoi, Jitesh Sharma, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, KS Bharat, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel.
Fast Bowling Contracts
Umran Malik, Vyshak Vijaykumar, Akash Deep, Vidwath Kaverappa and Yash Dayal
