India beat Pakistan for the 11th time in ICC Women’s World Cup history but Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof’s daughter won over the hearts of Indian cricketers and internet alike.
India beat Pakistan by 107 runs in the 4th match of ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 at Mount Maunganui and what followed next won the hearts world over. Shortly after the win, Indian cricketers Shafali Verma, Taniya Bhatia, Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Richa Ghosh, Meghna Singh and Yastika Bhatia were seen playing with Bismah Maroof’s daughter. The little one seemed amused with the attention she was getting from the Indian cricketers.
Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof is all smiles with her infant baby girl Fatima as Indian cricketers spend time with the little one. Pakistan broadcast journalist Ghulam Abbas Shah posted this heart warming video on his twitter handle.

Pooja Vastrakar and Sneh Rana were Indian stars of the night as they put on a record Indian 7th wicket stand that helped India recover from a position of 114-6 in 33.1 overs to register a challenging task of 245 runs to win for Pakistan. Rajeshwari Gayakwad rattled Pakistan batting order by picking 4 wickets. Pakistan were bundled out for 137 runs in the chase.
India will play hosts New Zealand in their next match on March 10 at Hamilton while Pakistan will hunt for their first win against Australia on March 8 at Mount Maunganui.
