TATA IPL – Women’s T20 Challenge 2022 – All Squads
BCCI announced three squads for Women’s T20 Challenge – Supernovas, Trailblazers and Velocity. This is the third edition of the tournament and Velocity are the current defending champions.
Mithali Raj who led Velocity to championship in 2020, is not a part of any of the teams this time round. Indian pacers Jhulan Goswami and Shikha Pandey are also not named in the squads.
Each squad has 16 players – 12 domestic and 4 overseas cricketers. The overseas cricketers featuring this year are Alana Kings, Deandra Dottin, Sophie Ecclestone, Sune Luus, Hayley Matthews, Salma Khatun, Sharmin Akter, Sophie Dunkley-Brown, Ayabonga Khaka, Kate Cross, Laura Wolvaardt and Natthakan Chantham.
Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the Supernovas while Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma will lead Trailblazers and Velocity respectively.

Women’s T20 Challenge Schedule:
The triangular tournament will begin on May 22 and the final will be played on May 28. Each team will play each other once. In case of tie in the points table, net run rate will decide the finalists.
May 23: Trailblazers vs Supernovas – 19:30 IST
May 24: Supernovas vs Velocity – 15:00 IST
May 26: Velocity vs Trailblazers – 19:30 IST
May 28: Final
