Netherlands vs West Indies ODI series: Netherlands and West Indies are set to face each other in a 3 match ODI series. Nicholas Pooran will begin his tenure as a full time limited overs captain of West Indies with Shai Hope as his deputy in ODI cricket. Pieter Seelar will lead the Netherlands squad.
The series will begin on 31 May and all the three matches will take place at VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen.
The three match series is a part of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League. Netherlands are currently at the foot of the Super League standings having won just two of their ten games in the competition to-date. There is plenty of scope for the Dutch to move up the table, with only New Zealand and Afghanistan having played fewer games in the Super League.
Meanwhile West Indies are at No.10 in the Super League table, 3 spots above Netherlands. Windies will miss the services of Evin Lewis, Jason Holder and Shimron Hetmyer in the series.
