ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Schedule
ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is set to begin on October 16, 2022 while the Super 12 round will begin on October 22, 2022. Australia are the defending champions and they will have the home advantage going in to the latest edition.
The venues for the first round are Kardinia Park Stadium in Geelong and Bellerive Oval in Hobart.
The venues for the main tournament are Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney, Perth Stadium in Perth, Bellerive Oval in Hobart, Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, The Gabba in Brisbane and Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. The semi-finals are scheduled to be played in Sydney and Aidelaide while the final will be played in Melbourne.
There are a total of 12 matches in first round and the Super 12 stage has 30 matches. Super 12 stage is followed by 2 semi-finals and 1 final.
The high octane battle between India and Pakistan will take place on October 23, 2022 at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
In the Super 12 stage, teams are divided in to Group 1 & 2.
