GT vs RCB – IPL 2022 Report: A Miller-Tewatia finish!

GT vs RCB, Match 43 – IPL 2022 Report: Gujarat Titans are on a roll as they snatched yet another thrilling chase in IPL 2022. They affirmed their top spot with a 6 wicket win against RCB.

Earlier RCB skipper Faf du Plessis chose to bat in the afternoon sun, but Yash Dayal’s replacement Pradeep Sangwan made merry in his IPL come back match when removed Faf for a duck!

Virat Kohli struck some form and Rajat Patidar put on a 99-run stand for the second wicket which put RCB in the front seat. Late slog from Glenn Maxwell and Mahipal Lomror took RCB to 170/6 in 20 overs.

Gujarat Titans began their chase in a steady fashion as Gill and Saha put on a consecutive fifty run stand for the first wicket. RCB pacers went wicket less but it was the spinners who did the trick. Shahbaz Ahmed and Wanindu Hasaranga picked 2 wickets each to cause a mini slump in the chase. Finishers David Miller and Rahul Tewatia continued what they know the best. They put on an unbeaten stand of 79 runs in 40 balls to finish the proceedings for the Titans in the chase!
