Watch: IPL 2022 – New ad with players
IPL 2022 will kick off from March 25 with Chennai Super Kings taking on Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The fans are excited as this time round we have a 10 team event and a longer schedule. Star Sports have released a series of ads to capture the excitement of the fans and players alike.
In the new IPL 2022 commercial, we see cricketers representing all 10 teams in a video call, engaging in banter with each other.
The players from each team are: Virat Kohli (RCB) – Ravindra Jadeja (CSK), Shreyas Iyer (KKR) – Bhuvneshwar Kumar (SRH), Mayank Agarwal (PBKS), Rishabh Pant (DC), Rohit Sharma (MI), KL Rahul (LSG), Hardik Pandya (GT) and Yuzvendra Chahal (RR).

Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are the new entrants to the marquee tournament. Super Giants will be led by KL Rahul while Hardik Pandya will lead Gujarat Titans. Both the teams will play their debut match on March 28.
Chennai Super Kings are the defending champions and would like to match Mumbai Indians record of title count. Ravindra Jadeja has been announced the new skipper of CSK after Dhoni decided to pass the leadership mantle.
