IPL 2022 Schedule is here

IPL 2022 schedule is out and the Tata Indian Premier League is set to kick start on March 26 at Wankhede Stadium with defending champions Chennai Super Kings taking on last year’s runners up Kolkata Knight Riders. This is followed by a match between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians at Brabourne-CCI on Sunday, March 27.

The schedule for 58 days and 70 games, starting from March 26 to May 22 has been announced while the itinerary for the play-offs has not yet been shared with the teams. Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is likely to host the play offs as per some reports.

Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants will make their IPL debut on 28 March, 2022 at Wankhede Stadium.

A total of 70 league matches and 4 playoffs are scheduled to take place in Mumbai and Pune together. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals will feature in their first match of the season on March 29 while Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings will play their first match of the brand new season on 27 March right after the DC and MI fixture.

There will be 12 double headers in total with the first match starting at 3:30PM IST. All evening matches will start at 7:30PM IST
