10) Rishabh Pant (DC)

Shubman Gill acted as a support for KKR and Venkatesh Iyer who blasted through innings while Gill made sure KKR was keeping up with a decent run rate by converting dot balls into 1s and 2s. He scored 478 runs with a strike rate of 123.00 and an average of 28.11.

Prithvi Shaw had a satisfactory season scoring 401 runs with a strike rate of 146.30 and an average of 31.93. He alongside Shikhar Dhawan is undoubtedly the powerhouse of Delhi Capitals. Although he is often caught in uncomfortable positions while defending, when he hits the ball it’s bound to go for the boundary. His 82 off 41 against KKR forced everyone to wonder just how many boundaries can a young talent of 21 score.
6) Sanju Samson (RR)
Sanju Samson scored 484 runs with a strike rate of 136.72 and an average of 40.33. Much like Mayank, on Rajasthan’s very first match this season, the captain scored an astounding century of 119 from 63 balls in a losing cause. He played a couple of other brilliant Knocks. Unarguably if he had just a little consistency, he would have been way higher on this list.

Glenn Maxwell had a terrible season with Punjab before coming into RCB and many suspected that he would go unsold this season. Despite a huge risk factor, RCB decided to buy Maxwell for around 14 crores. Expectedly, Virat and Co’s aggressive and competitive attitude managed to do wonders in his performance. He’s scored 498 runs with a strike rate of 144.10 and an average of 42.75 becoming the savior of RCB and pulling them out of every difficult situation.

3) KL Rahul (PBKS)
KL Rahul has handled both the Captain’s duty by nurturing young talents like Ravi Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh and the batter’s duty scoring 626 runs with a strike rate of 138.80 and an average of 62.60 this season. He scored an abundance of runs this season including 3 innings in the 90s. One of which was in Punjab’s last match. He didn’t manage to take Punjab to the playoffs but bid the IPL 2021 a sweet farewell by scoring 98* from 42, this time actually in a winning cause.
2) Faf du Plessis (CSK)
Faf ended up becoming the Player of the match in the final due to his 86 (56) which led to the gigantic target CSK set for KKR. He fell 3 runs short of the Orange cap. Leaving him out of the T20I World Cup side has resulted in a big loss for South Africa since Faf’s completely fit and has scored 633 runs with a strike rate of 138.20 and an average of 45.21 this season.
